Starting off the new year with a pretty cool announcement. Today, we were awarded a $5,500 grant to beautify some blighted property that faces the ferry terminal in Algiers Point. We will be updating our blog with progress photos and expenses as we work on this little slice of Algiers Point. I'm setting a date after Mardi Gras to start rounding up volunteers!
