Wednesdays on the Point Kicks off 2013 Season in Algiers

An excerpt from the full article from nola.com -  "Beatrix Bell, owner of Beatrixbell Handcrafted Jewelry and art vendor at Wednesdays on the Point, said she got involved to utilize her neighborhood connections. 'My neighbors know what I do, but because we didn't have a festival with art vendors before, they had never seen me do my job. This is in my neighborhood, so I see my friends and they get a chance to see what I do,' Bell said. Bell said since Wednesdays on the Point started, she has tried to get an arts market started at the event." Bell said she hopes to attract more local buyers by selling her pieces at the series.
