Over the years, many customers have shared a particularly meaningful belief about dragonflies. Some say that when a dragonfly lands on you, it can be the spirit of a loved one visiting, a quiet reminder that those we’ve lost may still be close in small and beautiful ways. Whether taken as folklore, symbolism, or simply a comforting thought, the idea has given the dragonfly a special place in the hearts of many people.
So it makes total sense that the dragonfly is a symbol connection and light. This concept was inspired by my new Sunrise Dragonfly pendant necklace and earrings I created earlier this year. What began as an original sketch was later transformed into pierced and etched metal, turning the delicate form of the dragonfly into a small piece of wearable art.
Like the dragonfly itself, the piece is meant to feel light, natural, and quietly meaningful; a small symbol that can carry its own story for the person who wears it.
