Still Waters Labradorite Earrings
Known as the stone of transformation, we also love labradorite because it is connected with creativity and imagination. The "fire" inside labradorite is a phenomenon known as labradorescence, which is the result of light reflecting off layers of minerals within the stone. When labradorite is viewed from different angles, it can display a range of colors, including blues, greens, yellows, oranges, and even purples. These particular pillow cut stones have lots of fire!
- Genuine laboradorite gemstone. All metals are 14k gold dipped.
- Earrings Hang about 1.25". Leverback hinged earwire.
Also referred to as gold-filled, gold dipped is the best alternative to solid gold, and that's why we use gold dipped metals in our jewelry designs. Our gold dipped jewelry components have 150-200 layers of pure solid gold over a base metal. Unlike gold- plated metals, our gold withstands the test of time; it will not tarnish or wear off. It's great for sensitive skin because it has a high gold content and contains no nickel or other irritating alloys.
